This online training course is designed for Professional Excavators from other states planning to work in Illinois. The purpose of this training is to highlight how the practices and legal requirements may be different in Illinois than other states.

It does not provide all the necessary information for someone working near underground utility facilities or above ground utilities or information specific to job circumstances.

The training provides the professional excavator with the basic knowledge needed to maintain a safe working environment near underground utility facilities while working in Illinois.
